Panaretos Kyriatzidis

Described as ‘A punctilious pianist’ (Opera Now) ‘with acutely responsive, intuitive playing." (Opera Magazine), Panaretos Kyriatzidis is increasingly sought after as a collaborative performer, vocal coach and musical director. 

Panaretos has been a Britten Pears and Oxford Lieder Young Artist and has won the Gerald Moore Award, Emmy Destinn Awards Accompanist prize and the duo prize at the London Song Festival.

Panaretos enjoyed a successful collaboration with King’s Head Theatre where he was the musical director of Tosca (Off West End Award 2018 for best opera production), La Traviata (nominated in the same category for 2019), La bohème (nominated for an Olivier Award) and Madame Butterfly, on which he worked with librettist Amanda Holden.

A native of the Greek island of Thassos, Panaretos holds a BA in Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He finished his postgraduate studies in piano performance under Martino Tirimo and Eugene Asti at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he was awarded numerous prizes and was appointed Junior Fellow in Accompaniment for two years.

Panaretos has performed extensively in the UK and abroad and broadcast live on BBC Radio 3. He is the musical director of St Paul’s Opera and a member of staff at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and Morley College.
